Once The Fierce Protectors of Mages and Magika, these incredible creatures of the Divinities were destroyed when Magika was eradicated after The Conqueror lay siege to the Lands of A'aeriigaelon and made the use of Magika and all Mages illegal.
The very practice of Magika was not only illegal but punishable by death.
These enormous, immense, Ethereally-Powered Creatures once proudly circled the skies of A'aeriigaelon-protecting The Magika and Mages that literally breathed he life right intothem.
They protected them both to the death, with raw power - physically, Magikally and psychologically. They gave Focus to the Mages, which helped them become even more powerful.
They also never left the Heart of the Waeyy'lynes.
The roar of the Ddrai'igae waned, and eventually stopped, after the Coup of The Conqueror.
Over time, The Great Guardian Ddraii'gae became lost to time and myth.
Master Nature Mages, Healer Mages, High Priestesses, and The Grand Mage would know of their existence, and nobody else.
Once, these magnificent creatures would have been found swooping and flying over the land that is now known as A'aeriigaelon. Then The Conqueror invaded and everything changed.
The Purge of Magika from the land also purged the life-force of the Ddraii'gae. With Magika banished forever, these magnificent creatures barely escaped.
And so... They hid.
