In Danger of Being Destroyed Forever
History Of Magika
Was Hidden Within Classic Children's Stories

History Of Magika
Magika has a long and sordid history on Faeh'rron, over the years... for Eras, in fact.
But it wasn't always like that...
Magika was first created by Brehi'ina to protect The People from Cythrauliia'an and his growing evil powers, after being banished to Chthoniia'an.
To wield this immense raw power and protect The People, she also created New Creatures and named them Mages. Brehi'ina thought long and hard over how this would best help and protect The People from Cythrauliia'an safely.
At first, she decided that she would be best wielding the most powerful of it herself - giving the position a title, or more like a rank, of Grand Mage.
Brehi'ina concluded the best way of ensuring Magika was fully available and powerful in Faeh'rron, without having to be constantly replenished by Nehvadiia'a, was to have an unlimited amount actually interred into the physical lands of Faeh'rron itself, instead of it being Divine.
At this point, she decided on a huge self-sufficient Magika pool in the centre of Faeh'rron, and tendrils spreading outwards and between each other, would infuse the Magika into as much of Faeh'rron as would be possible.
These tendrils were named Y'rwaeyy-laeyiins, and they came
The Great Guardian Ddrai'igae were created as a First and Last Defence against a siege or an attack of War. They not only lived off the Magika flowing inside the Y'rwaeyy-laeyiins
The Glades of Cari'iadae were at the centre of the Y'rwaeyy-laeyiins. From there, the tendrils of Magika spread out like arachi-webs, reaching to all spaces of the extraordinarily large landmass in the centre of all Faeh'rron.
DEFEATED & DESCERATED
When it came, the first wave of attacks, and indeed the entire war, was a brutal bloodbath.
All The Mages were targeted. None were exempt. Few ever survived.
The Battle Of The Conqueror Destroyed Everything —
And Changed Everything.
FOREVER.
After The Battle Of The Conqueror, he Ruled All. He declared himself Sovereign King of the lands of the Cari'iadae forest and beyond to the borders of other Kingdoms.
Hidden In Plain Sight, away from the brutal decimation of Magika & Mages in A'aeriigaelon during the Reign of the The Conqueror & Beyond ...
They called it:
...The Sordid & Desecrated History of Mages & Magika was printed in detail, read to children of The People and taught vigorously to the secret children of the surviving outlawed Mages.
The Tales Of The Witches
In The Forest
Classic Children's Stories - told to almost all children growing up within The Borderlands, especially those in A'aeriigaelon.
These enjoyable tales of "Good Versus Evil" have been enjoyed by countless children over the last Ten Eras.
Usually read to them from quite a young age, The Tales Books - as they became colloquially known - is a thrilling, deep, dark, and rambling tale of the fight for Magika, read to children by their parents.
Indeed, written in secret over one thousand years ago, it was only written to commemorate Magika, particularly within A'aeriigaelon. The authors never could have dreamed their large set of books would become a staple of children's reading mythology all over Faeh'rron.
However, to one set of young children, and their adult selves, these are not harmless, timeless, highly enjoyable books to be devoured.
In fact, they are not truly children's stories - they were simply designed that way to remain beyond suspicion for what they actually were: A faithful, accurate & very true historical account of the Destruction Of Magika within A'aeriigaelon, after the downfall of the Mages of Cari'iadae to The Conqueror.
